In our 14 years in Maryland, we used Richard Chavatel, of  Chavetel builders , to design, create and implement our various home expansion projects .With each new project, Richard Chavatel delivered exceptional work....As our family grew, so did our need for expanding our home in Lutherville. Richards work was so excellent, we hired him for three different projects over the course of several years... From finishing a basement when our kids were small, to undertaking a multi room addition and expansion, Richard was personally involved in every step of the process. In the planning stage, he was not only knowledgeable about the local building codes, but had a great sense of design and flow. He listened carefully to our vision and gave insightful suggestions to optimize our space and budget. The work was done in a rapid time frame and Richard used the finest materials .He even found the exact bricks for the new garage he built for us, which matched our existing home perfectly so that one could not tell that the new extension was not original to the house. At completion, Richard was responsive to our punch list and made sure it was completed to our satisfaction. In summary, we can enthusiastically recommend Richard Chavatel as a wonderful builder.
